Y’all. My son’s head is a hot mess. While I would love to say his shaggy mop has something to do with sentimentality, the truth of the matter is that I’m that mom who never seems to have time to take her kid to get his haircut. For shame, I know. But I’m here now, researching cute haircuts for toddler boys, so that has to count for something, right?

When it comes to our little boy, Bowen, I should preface any conversation with, “He’s a wild one.” In fact, we call him “Bowgli” after Mowgli in the Jungle Book, because the kid would probably feel right at home in a den of wolves or traipsing through the wild with a bear.

But he’s our little wild child, and we love him. Why am I telling you all this? I’m doing so to give you context to the kinds of haircuts you’re about to see. Obviously, there are probably many, many more haircuts for toddler boys out there in the world that are precious. The ones I’ve curated here are ones I feel suit our son’s personality.

Granted, he may have different opinions about sitting in a barber’s chair long enough to let anyone give him any cut that is more complicated than a basic buzz or bowl. That doesn’t mean we won’t give it the ol’ college try, though. Here’s hoping all goes well, and soon our little wild thing will at least look a little less feral.
